Infrastructure and Gateway Tunnel

New Jersey’s infrastructure is not only vital to our state, but is critically important to the United States’ economy overall. 20% of U.S. GDP relies directly or indirectly on the current Hudson River Rail Tunnel. Moreover, $20 billion in business income travels through our ports annually, generating nearly $5 billion in federal, state and local tax revenues. These figures pale in comparison to the unquantifiable benefit our highways, roads and bridges provide the region every day.

Frank will fight to make sure Washington is properly investing in our infrastructure and will advocate for landmark projects such as the Gateway Tunnel, and critical infrastructure investments in maintenance and repairs to our bridges, tunnels and roadways.
